  • I've picked up an old wreck of pomp. On inspection, the only bit I'll be keeping is the frame. Plan is to turn into a fixed winter commuter. I'd like to run a disk front end. This gives me fork based dilemmas.

My question, how fucked would the geo be with 425mm A2C? Anyone tried it? What was the outcome? The Kinesis DC37 seems to be the go to carbon option, but they are now rare as hens teeth and were 405mm. The standard is like 395 I think?

  • This is reassuring. Got any photos of such a combo? I'm planning to still make it look nice - New paint, new wheel build etc...Just wondering about whether to put a china carbon disk fork on the front. I've found an allow alternative on ebay with the perfect A2C. Decision decisions.
