I like that there are people on CdFs and there's a cheap PlanetX Holdsworth, a Surly and a Kona Sutra (looks like 2013, same year as mine) in there too. Maybe they won't be competitive exactly but nice to know that you don't have to spend a ton on your bike to do something like this. Would love to try something (shorter) like this one day.

No point: his Gooch has been completely eclipsed by Ryan Flinn. Rhino now owns gooch suffering in ultra racing.

That tooth brush is a neat idea. Don't usually bother cleaning my chain on the rides but that would be easy to do. It's in the right place to go it quickly.

Top tip, put chain lube where it is accessible from the drive side. I had mine in a bag under the down tube but the zip was on the other side so always had to turn the bike round twice when I lubed. #marginalgains
