Honestly, coming from Glasgow where the river Clyde is known to blister skin if contacted, it was incredible. Quality of life seemed pretty great.
(okay, I'm kidding about the clyde, there have been fish returning to the river recently, but still)

It's great fun but I honestly wouldn't recommend it for people that can't swim, currents can be a bit too strong to handle if you don't know what you're doing.

There were even some orcas spotted in the Clyde recently... but maybe they got scared off by the toxic industrial runoff?

woah, poor Orcas.

Rene Bonn is motoring. Think he'll do well this year - plenty of experience.

So, in a day and 19 hours, Bernd has been stopped for 44 minutes? Really?
This is my 5th year of dotwatching and that still blows my mind

He’s had tracker issues no?

I guess most riders will be going over the Brenner - beautiful area but did not enjoy riding there due to traffic last year... and a horrible headwind.

The answer to the question that was asked, if cap12 is riding a fixed wheel this year.

Agreeed. Brenner Pass is one the worst climbs in the Alpes due to all the motorbikes and caravans who aren’t allowed on the motorway running parallel.

By the looks of his set up, Stephane is out to give this a serious crack this year.

the cycle path which appears and disappears at times was awful too. Lost a lot of time getting lost on that before deciding just to ride on the road instead.

Check out his (and Bjorn's) pattern from TAW on Trackleaders - very long stretches at fast pace. We'll see if that's sustainable over double the distance though. It's incomprehensible to me!

I really enjoyed the Kinesis TCRNo6 Rider Gallery!! Great idea.
Takes the dot watching experience up a notch.
Very interesting assortment of bikes and characters to ride them.
I was happily surprised of how many couples. -

I've only ridden it on a closed road, making it a pretty fun climb to do.

That concrete block has to weigh a bit though
Known as Wickelfisch swimming, because you put your clothes in an inflatable bag which doubles as a buoyancy aid. Which is known as a Wickelfisch. @Cyclsite wants to try it. On the upside, she lives in Basel at the moment. On the downside, she can't swim.
