  • United were much more attacking in a british, high tempo, proper wingers kind of way than any mourinho team..
    Even thinking back to that Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo variant they were all over teams. Personnel changed but Ferguson was all about going for the goals from what I can remember.

  • Mourinho’s first Chelsea team were like that, Duff and Robben attacking down the flanks, Gudjohnsen, Hasselbaink and Fat Frank banging in the goals.

  • Beating everyone out the traps, smashing 4 goals past every one.

    I bet if you searched this thread, corndog might even eulogise about that team.

  • I forgot that team, I did really like them, they were good to watch.
    I also enjoyed his Real Madrid team when they were at their counter attacking best. If they swiped the ball off you and you were caught short at the back, it felt like they would always score.
