Also, it's good to see dots are all blue now. No little girls and little boys (although I realise that TABR riders had expressed a different preference).

It takes a little while for your dot to appear on Trackleaders after receiving your tracker.

Isn't it just fantastic how everyone has their own plans on how to ride this? You can even see this in the way everyone started and the routes followed since;

I'm surprised how spread out the main bunch is already.

Did I see that the Mash bro-dudes who bailed last year slightly controversially are back again?
-
• #1432
Yes, but they've got a dynamo this year

On Free-Route I activated the route of some riders, it's easier to follow them. But I can't see how to share the resulting map. Anybody knows ?
-
• #1434
I wonder if that will help them find 'the Stoke'.

Is Ian Whinypants "I'm not going to win so I'm not racing any more" To riding again this year?

Anyone know anything about Craig Bachelor? A quick google and Strava search revealed nothing

No, I was about to try and look him up.
Edit - he seems to be based in Thailand, does road racing. No idea what the standard is but came 4th in Tour of Phuket, 5th in Tour of Chaing Mai.

Fuck Germany.
(No offence @Oliver Schick)

Not sure if I have the right person, but Google search leads to a Craig Bachelor from Thailand that races with SwiftCarbon Virgin Active and finished 4th overall in 2016 Tour de Phuket

i did the same thing @joe95 - good research @frank9755 and @kiex
he's riding really well but wondering if @skinny and Bjorn (etc) have the edge due to experience. I hope he keeps it up.
on a side note, my pal Innes doing great, currently in 15th place!

No. 79 route choice is really bewildering to me.
I'm a bit familiar with this area. At first I was thinking maybe he wanted to follow the Kylltal cycle trail because it is downhill all along the Kyll river ending at the Mosel. Really nice paved trail. But then were to go after that?
For sure he is enjoying the scenery out that way.Edit: my prediction - Rosport -> Sauer river-> Konz -> Saar river -> Saarlouis -> then with the pack again
Looks like No. 36 stopped off at Andy Schleck's bicycle store in Luxembourg for a bit. Must be neat to have a transcon cap pop in for some fixing &or supplies.

I'm assuming Osvaldo Navia #75 has scratched? Seems like a waste of a racing spot to go straight to Brussels and then head to the train station (it seems at the moment at any rate) but don't know what happened. His twitter account hasn't shed any light on the situation.

What has happened to #160?

Few of those at the back have some strange activity, maybe tracker issues.
It does make you wonder though.
Giannis Mass caught my eye, looks like they slept from around midnight till 7.... -

No 36 via Twitter, had his GPS ‘jump’off the mount somehow so after 1/2 hr searching in a patch of nettles without luck had to get another.

No Raceflow view on TL for some reason. Maybe it'll appear later?
This twitter "list" of racers is fun to dip into: https://twitter.com/hugovk/lists/tcrno6 (not mine, I hasten to add)

Not a hugely high standard of racing. Reckon it puts him on a par with a decent UK 1st Cat. If that.

Hope it wasn't an Edge 1000 or 1030!!
Edit:
I see via twitter feed it was an Elemnt.
so "only" -300 ishAt least with the live tracker he has an argument for the statement "if its not on strava it didn't happen"
I can't see Jürgen Knupe in the list of riders on Trackleaders. Had he already been removed before the start?
