They're really lacking in 650b sizes unfortunately, from 40c (can fit in most, but maybe a little small for 650b benefits) straight up to 57c then 70c

G-ONE Speed aren't exactly durable, but the pair I have in my bike are well above 2000km and still trouble free. Just looking bald and tired but work exactly the same

Anybody tried fitting Pickenflick with 26" wheels and MTB 2.0-2.25 tyres? I just got a crazy idea within my "one do-it-all bike" to have 700x30-35c slicks or file treads for tarmac and hardpack and 26 inch wheelset for trails and other harder terrain. Or is it too much for drop bar bike? I already own another bike - a cheap SS commuter, so can't spare place for the third one in my flat.

Anyone got a photo of the BB area internal cable routing on a new (2017) Arkose? Is there a big hole? Still thinking about buying a frame for a internal di2 install, and the only thing bugging me is the cable to the front mech.
There's indeed a big hole for both cable to come out, and a plastic cable holder for the front mech that can be removed.

like the look of this on first inspection.
I hope they sell as a frameset option rather than just complete. -

Are there any Mason Bokeh china clones out yet?

I got a hardtail MTB recently for dirt-cheap, but don't really have much cause to use it. How much of the drivetrain / brakes / wheels etc would I be able to use on a roadish frame (undetermined) for bikepacking? It's shimano 1x11 and hydro brakes.

If anyone has any gravelbro tyres they're letting go of cheap I'd be interested.
I've been using schwalve cx comp for a while on my crosscheck but will be taking it on a multi-day trip soon and most of it is paved so hoping for something a bit less treaded

More Arkose spam. Just got the 650b on this and they have made an already very capable bike really really fun. Highly recommended!

Late to the party, but 43mm gravelking sk felt a lot faster than 38mm G-one (evolution) on pavement/asphalt.

It is a cracking bike.
I'd get rid of the tool roll, put bottle cage under the downtube and get those small bottle tool instead.

out of curiosity, why?

more secure, less stuff hanging off, simply fit and forget.

I just placed an order for my 650b wheelset finally :) Now it's just a matter of choosing the tyres, I missed the sale on Planet X sadly, but still I can get for almost the same price:
a) WTB Horizons (seems my favourite right now)
b) Maxxis Re-Fuse (more bombproof)
c) Clement Strada USH 42c (smaller diameter, lighter, therefore probably better for road riding, 700c wheelset will be for CX riding etc)
d) Panaracer Gravelking (slick, but I read quite many reports that they puncture easily, so would rather pass on them)What is your recommendation?

What size exactly? Used, if yes what mileage?
Also I live in Poland, don't know what the possible shipping cost would be. -

I'd probably have to charge you something for postage if it's outside the UK -

Gravelking are amazing on and off road, even on a loaded bike, it grip the gravel really well (non SK version).
Been running it tubes, should convert to tubeless soon, go 48mm or go home.

Dunno what people are doing to their G One Speeds. 5000+ KM’s of mixed use on my first set, including lots of gravel where I ran them at 20 psi. 2000+ KMs of use on my second set so far... zero issues.

Put them on a week before roubaix and after a week the back was nearly bald.
