Actually that’s a different border - that one was slightly more to the north.
I took it but riders had already had been rejected and had to take an additional route. If you went over it early/late in the day then I think you could get over it.
The road conditions were bad on the Bosnian side but were pretty good on the other.

Yeah, I don't think anyone got through on the southern crossing. I'm just gonna play it safe, cross in the north and enjoy the stunning views as Frank mentioned: https://goo.gl/maps/d789ZAuawLK2 https://goo.gl/maps/e8bkGx1RVas

As far as I'm concerned anyone who chances a 'locals only' border has essentially done the same thing as ridden on a 'cars only' road and should be penalised accordingly.
Rules: "Any rider found to be breaking local laws may find themselves excluded from the race."
I don't see why this locals only border crossing rule is excluded from that statement.

My route was flat due to going through a 5km long tunnel.
Assuming fahrrad shuttles are out of the question looks like some panic rerouting are in order along with complete loss of smugness. Also thanks to @MisterTomTom to pointing out a border crossing i was not planning on using. Nope. Not at all.

Must be north of 4000km now then?

Very definitely, I've split my route up so lost track of the full count.

Training is cheating.
Says the man who rode across America on a training ride.

Did he not get a place?

Think he decided too late to attempt the Triple, after registrations had closed.

Spotted a rider on Uxbridge Road this morning who looked like they were kitted out for this (frame bags, aero bars etc) . Anyone on here?

It wasn't training, it was a "warm up".

I'll set my traps out tonight.
I've seen a guy on a grey bike (maybe ti, i hear it's all the rage) and grey bags.

Narrowed it down to 250 people then.

Nah, I heard someone is riding an orange bike with grey bags and once I saw a grrl on a blue bike with grey bags.

New BB installed. Think most of the noise is coming from my DT Swiss star ratchet hub - probably too late to order a rebuild kit though.
Routes copied. I didn't do any more work since the other night. Fuck it.

Still adding POI's. Got plenty of time. I think.

Cranks tightened, front mech adjusted, spacer put between top of stem and top cap to eliminate squeak & wiring entry into dynamo properly soldered. Everything nice and quiet (for now!)
RWGPS routes downloaded offline to phone. Will download to Garmin(s) tonight. Downloaded free OSM for all countries my route goes through and those either side.
Bike ships out tomorrow morning. Drop it off before work at St Pancras.
I think that was the one that in TCR 4 the first ones there got through because there was nobody to stop them, but then the authorities woke up and got there and the rest didn't get through and had to reroute to bigger border crossing points. I believe it was actually one of the "locals only" border crossings. There's gravel. But it saved a few hours for the ones that got through, going to Pluzine. I crossed the border at the one near Klobuk, Ilino Brdo or how ever it's spelled.
