  • They state they require a BBT-29. I have a BBT-9 with the plastic reducer for Shimano stuff but I have no idea what BBT-29 is.

    I have 9000 cranks but only ran them with adapters in BB30 BBs so don't think I've ever used 9000 series BB.

  • I used a multi hook tool in the end. Very carefully and with plenty of padding around the frame. No issues and using copper slip went in very nicely.
    Not recommending this method btw. Even though it worked.
