If we posit that humans are the problem then the most effective way of removing said problem (significant climate change, rioting/wars/Mad-Max dystopia and eventual extinction) would be hastened by doing nothing about climate change. So the most effective way of bringing about a total cure would be to fly everywhere whilst wearing a suit made out of steak and pouring litres of milk into the carpet.
