Whereabouts were you going to stockpile? Just asking for no reason, no reason at all...

On a brighter note the Tories may not be around that much longer

Thirty-eight percent of people would vote for a new right-wing party that is committed to Brexit, while almost a quarter would support an explicitly far-right anti-immigrant, anti-Islam party, the poll found.
Brexit campaigner Nigel Farage and U.S. President Donald Trump’s former adviser Steve Bannon are in discussions about forming a new right-wing movement, according to The Sunday Times.

Well..... I'm not going to use the shed. If I sort out cupboard space and use the cupboards under the kitchen bench the kitchen will be a good start. Then, it might be time to cash in my petroleum deposit (in the form of records). That would free up loads of space in the living room.
I got space.

I don't really know whether the Lib Dems are just a bit of a lost cause these days, but Vince hasn't been particularly impressive, so getting in someone new could give them a bit of va-va-voom...

Has there ever been a LibDem with va va voom?

Lembit Opik.

Tony Blair?

Not really. Perhaps the closest would have been Paddy Pantsdown.

Not sure if posturing, but if not, puts the kibosh on those who think we can just sit and extend the A50 timeline indefinitely until our politicians figure out something that is palatable.

My heavily-armoured secure compound, naturally. Why else would I have it?

I think it's spot on, what would the EU gain by allowing us to kick the can down the road for another 3 months? Nothing other than more chaotic posturing in place of negotiation.
If there was a genuine game-changer such as an election then that's a good reason - but giving us more time to be useless in? That's not a good reason.

Pretty sure the EU care little as to who the UK populace blame for a no deal Brexit.

I suspect that Barnier et al know that there is nothing they can do that will not be written up as malicious by the UK press, which actually takes the pressure off them.

Asked whether Hunt’s threat of declining British-EU relations, or the Brexit secretary Dominic Raab’s threat of the UK not paying £39bn in outstanding bills if trade talks stalled, were the kind of good manners usually associated of the British, Maas replied: “At the recent Nato summit I took part in bilateral talks with [the Turkish president] Mr Erdoğan and Mr Trump, so good manners are always relative.”
talk about being damned with faint praise...

Agreed, it must be like watching a car crash in slow motion which you can't do anything about and then getting the blame for it!

Nah, all these trips to Switzerland for 'cycling' are just a cover for a mountain hollowing out project for his Bond villain-style lair.

Busted. Time to escape to my lair, round up the henchmen, and explain my plan for world domination to my cat. Mwahahahaha!!!
Actually, I did once go to a fancy dress party as Ernst Stavro Blofeld. It was a Bond-themed party, so all the blokes just put on DJs and went as Bond, and all the ladies just wore flouncy dresses and chose their favourite Bond girl. Except I went as Blofeld (cream Nehru suit, bald wig, SPECTRE ring), and @Cycliste went as the cat.

So the UK signs up but all the tax shelters under UK jurisdiction can make their own decision whether to follow the EU's legislation.

Theresa May simulating being a human (and failing as usual)
Yep. Totally. I'll start stockpiling food when I get back from holiday.
