I'm never lost - they just haven't built a pub where I'm at yet.

We know you're lost without a pub. :)

Is there an echo in here?

Yeah, if you have to pull into a servo to chill out because you've spent an hour being buzzed by trucks, sometimes quieter roads can be quicker.

Yes. I mean, no.

I'm going to need to re do my route through Croatia into Bosnia. Proposed route looked fucking hilly and quite blue on the heat map.
Now have one of each type of cable and a good selection of bolts including spare chainring bolt courtesy of local biek shop. New tyre lever time too. No rear mech hanger though. Mines pretty beefy anyway.

Looks good!
I remember two years ago I took various spares but I didn't do a full trial pack until I was at the hotel in Geraardsbergen. Then I realised I needed to carry some food for the night so I didn't physically have room for all the spares. So I had to dump stuff like chain tool, spoke key and spare Garmin. And I dumped my tyre levers in favour of the Lezyne ones they gave us at the briefing, as they were a good bit smaller. So I hope it all fits! -

Upgrade wouldn't sell me a hanger (well their website doesn't work and they declined to respond further than "it's fine for us") so fuck the spare hanger.
I bought some Pedros after everyone raved about them and I just don't see what the fuss is. I don't like them as much as I liked my cheapie ones from Oz.
I superglue all my bolts in. It's lighter than taking spares.

I don't remember getting tyre levers. You dumped your chain tool? Brave.

Ha I have food stuffed in every orifice at the start to keep me going. It’s an easy one to keep me going. But you’ll want that space for food during the race also. And people wonder why I use a big framebag, I like to eat!

No idea but looking at the pile of stuff and the space available, it'll be touch and go! That's a job for Friday night. :) Need to get my route safe and sorted first.

id be taking a spare hanger over a spare cable, you can pedal without a cable, you cant pedal so well without a hanger, and every bike shop in the world, i hope, has cables...

I think I've seen that film.

Nice of you to take one off my hands.

Bike has a MTB style hanger which is pretty thick. Anyway, I've got exactly one million other things left to do in preparation like sorting out the front mech so the chain doesn't rub on it and work out where all the other rattles are coming from. When it snaps and my hopes and dreams come crashing down, you can say I told you so.

Sounds fun.
I'm going to take my bike at the shop tomorrow and walk out with a new one later in the day. Oh the joy :)
All new everything, sure it'll be shiny for only a few days!

Why? All the cool kids have slightly bent FDs. They're like scars, chicks dig 'em.
Wait, that couldn't happen to hippy.
