It's tough down here. We (and even more Sunderland!) had real hangovers from the PL first year down - it's hard to get a relegated team up for the lower level - needs clever management. If you have a slow start it's hard work to catch up. And while there are a shitload of games, they are all over the place - Tuesdays, Wednesdays + all the TV schedule changes that you will get.

we haven't taken Josh Onomah with us on our US tour, not sure whether we're leaving him in readiness for a cash plus player move for Grealish.
I'm at the stage now where I believe we're not going to buy anyone, as our rumored targets sort out new contracts with current club, or their possible transfer fee rises past what I think we can afford, and players that were supposed to be making way for new faces, stay in the fold.
I know Levy's a deadline day deliverer but there's a lot to be done and only 3 weeks to do it in..
New kit is nice (sponsor aside).
Really not sure about this season. A lot of exits and a few still to go. No massive new signings either. Haven't got a clue which way it's going to go.
Considering the mess @villa-ru is going through at the moment, I'm just desperate to spend as little time in the championship as possible.
It's also going to make it 10x harder to get to all the games. I'm going to miss at least 4 home games this season which is as many as the last three seasons put together.
Are you optimistic?
