Fack.. RWGPS removing custom POIs for free users? Going to have to add that feature to routecheck.cc soon then.
-

Is that the list along the left hand side? I don't think I've ever used that.
Maybe it helped when using other people's audax routes but I don't recall doing much with it. -

I think that's the cue sheet. I like being able to drop pins for certain stops/food/drink along the route - if they make POIs premium-only I'll have to add that. Was on my eventual to-dos anyway.

I never use that mainly because the Garmin is so shit. If I could easily search the Garmin to see them then I would. I just drop starred locations on google maps.

Not bad. I'm guessing you'll sacrifice a lump or too for shorter route whereas I'm carrying an extra two people's bikes everywhere the flatter the better.

How do you guys research border crossings? Any tips? Or just "google it".
-
• #1111
Post it in here and I’ll tell you what it’s liek.
-

Google it.
Normally wikipedia has answers. Sometimes go to country's border control site.
What are the two towns?

Forecast for next Sunday in Geraardsbergen is 20deg overnight with a 7kph tailwind. Sure that will change to 5deg with a 50kph headwind but looking promising this far out.

No particular towns yet, was just wondering.

There will be after the handful of caffeine pills I smash back.

There's no prizes for first over the Muur.
I will be leaving the caffeine alone for the first night, riding gingerly up the Muur behind everyone, safe in the knowledge I haven't just blown 300 cals out the window for nothing.
-
• #1119
But you’ve got cals to burn.
And I’ve got an image to maintain!
-
• #1120
I'm the one with the image to maintain.
-
• #1121
hah, I remember being mildly annoyed last year cause I felt silly walking up the muur. Was quite content spinning away in 34/36 but people ahead of me couldn't stay on their bike, so I couldn't either!

I hammered it the first year and got clear of the weaklings quickly. Dawdled last year and got held up. This year, extra beers in Gberg and head off later.

Sad that David Coulson is not riding this year but very excited to see that #12 Stephane Ouija is.

I, for one, look forward to the competition between hippy and Stéphane as to how to get lost most spectacularly.
Tanja Hacker's a hard act to follow, so get to it. :)

I could imagine productive diversions down deep caves that subsequently flood.
I always knew you were a BASIC bitch.
(I don't know what that means but the womenz on twitter seem to use it a lot)
