What is it about these frames that make them so expensive? This is a genuine question (not saying the price is high).
-
• #9
Low supply, high demand.

Pretty fun to ride as well.

Yeah thanks for the answer, I've asked a wrong question. What makes them so desirable/in demand?

Did it sell?

Not yet - have offers to post it - but I’m giving priority to someone who can pick up in London first...

What makes anything desirable? Your answer will vary depending on who you ask. If you're asking why it's so comparatively expensive compared to other second hand frames, they don't make them anymore.

SOLD
Hi - time to part with my V2. It’s in decent condition, with all the usual chips and scrapes you’d expect for a Brooklyn.
Will include:
V2 long frame + fork
Brooklyn branded headset/top cap/seatpost
Concor Saddle
Ritchey 100mm stem/Easton risers/odi lock on grips
Shimano sealed bb (will take 75s/dura ace)
I’ve not been keeping up with the fixie stock market, so price comes from checking some other threads.
Now £600 for all the above - dropped off at Waterloo Station on a day of your choice. With a new forum donation as I haven’t for a longtime.
Please see photos below - let me know if there any more/specifics you’d like. Also check pedalroom link for build photos.
