I think they need to ban alcohol.
Woah woah woah, some of us can drink and have a great time without fucking up any riders.
Also, there's plenty of sober people doing dumb shit like taking selfies standing in the road. I'd ban any prick that turns their back to the peloton before I banned booze (well, of course I would).

I think they need to ban alcohol. Seems the sensible step. Barriers or any other block wouldn’t be needed if people could be sensible and respectful. A lot of people spend all day getting pissed up, banning alcohol will be a big step forward.
They also need to identify and make an example of (fine, community service) a few idiots and people will get the point it’s not tolerated. The person that knocked nibali off should be prosecuted for assault.
