It finally happened. Frame has cracked around the base of the seat tube.

What do do now? Is it weldable? I might just retire it from commuting/dad bike now and set it up for cross until it kills me.

How did it go? Noticeable ping or did you just see when looking at it at some point?

Bit worried about this happening to mine, especially since I've shoved a 130mm hub in it. Though not sure if this something they fixed with the v4.

It's not "gone" yet, just a hairline crack around the tube across the whole rear side. I only noticed it when oiling the chain. I wonder if the baby seat has contributed tbh.

I rode it this morning, paying attention to any noticeable flex or creaking, and didn't detect a difference.
