Ridiculous.

She gets into that position every morning. As soon as LadyLiz sits down to tie her shoes. She spends the preceding 15mins playing, meeping and generally being adorable but as soon as she grabs her shoes it’s sulky croissant cat.
As she’s grown to tolerate us it’s got harder and harder to leave her, despite her being paired with us on the basis of her aloofitude and love of solitude. -

The owner of this black monster shall castrate him immediately please
because he is raping a lot of cats - even neutered ones! -
because he's entering homes, stealing food constantly, and is hard to shush away..
(...)
Your behaviour is unbelievably stupid, egoistic, careless and has nothing to do with love of animals!
Unfortunately there's no compulsory castrating of free range cats in Germany (...)
Yadda yadda yadda -

FFS, upstairs cat has just chased Patch back into the flat. They basically lock him out day and night with only a tiny bowl of water. I have witnessed him waiting for hours to want to get back inside his home and because he hangs about so much, Patch now won't go out at all during the day and only goes out to do her business in the middle of the night when we (human and cat) think upstairs cat has been called back, well well well, we were wrong, now he is also locked out at night because it's cooler outside. Fucking hell!
I spoke to them and they said he is from a litter of 3 and his 2 litter mates were too wild so they were rehomed to a farm as semi feral cats and he was just about OK to be rehomed to a household. The way they are treating this cat is only going to make his wild side even worse.
I am conflicted, I do feel sorry for the cat as, for example, in the past couple of weeks, because of the footie, the guys won't be home till very late and so they would only leave a bowl of water and about 60g of dry food (I know the amount because they asked me to feed him before) for an entire day until like pass 11pm... I want to feed him but I know I can't because he can't think that I am his friend and I don't want to feed other people's cat.
I do hate this cat but I don't blame this cat... what can I do?
Also spoke to our vet and vet says this cat displays typical behaviour of a cat that hasn't been socialised properly and should not be rehomed normally to begin with.

cats avoid conflict i would give it a bit of time they will get there own boundaries, they may become tollerant of each other.
also you can try to deter black cat with a spray of water ? -
• #7585
We have a similar thing in our garden, our cat has formed her boundaries now, infact she seems to have formed an alliance with two other cats to see off the aggressive one. She will happily sit with the other two nearby but flips when the aggro one comes into our garden.

I spray water at the lack cat repeatedly whenever I see him in my garden, but he doens't give a shit, I mean he'd run off but would swiftly return moments later.
It just upsets me seeing Patch not being happy and not going out enjoying the sunny weather like she normally would.

I offically hate Patch as of an hour ago!
She brough home a mouse and I caught it swiftly as I usually do, she wasn't impressed by my taking away the best cat toy ever so she did a wee in the litter tray as a protest and left wee paw prints in the hallway.
Patch loves nothing more that protest dump (piss and / or shit) to make her feelings known!
Anyone wants a 3rd hand cat? (She is from Battersea, so I guess I am her 2nd hand owner...)
