The only cheap way to go sub-7 is bargainous used carbon tubs, light saddle and cages, and questionable Chinese finishing kit.

I'll take your word for it but colour me skeptical about your scales.
Rad frame though. Love a javelin.
That spacer stack must be worth 50g ;)

Shit photo but did a crap rush rattlecan on the Donohue and my mate cut me some vinyl.
Want to get it powder coated gloss metallic black next year I reckon, or deep purple, will see how the shit rattle can holds up. What a waste of time and money compared to getting it coated tho.
Shit photos and stem needs lowered.

Haha, yeah, retrofitting that would take it from amateur to pro-level bodge. I might have a look in a hardware store and see if I can make the same thing up out of countersunk bolts and such

Unsure if factory built, hard to know but it's a very professional job. I was looking for years. I got them from this site. Not cheap 200 euro.

Looks like you did a decent job! I sort of miss the tasteless 90s tribal though.
Speaking of tasteless 90s Donohues, if anybody is selling some wide as fuck 26mm (or 25.4mm at a push) risers, ideally silver, shoot me a message!

My caad 8 is like 7.2 with wide alu wheels and has cost me well under fifteen hundred.
