That's good. I knew they were mostly on the Eastern side of Centre Road, but I've seen a few on the West side when I've been out so I wasn't sure whether they were nesting there or just larking about.

Following the verdict, former politician Bill Mountford told BBC Suffolk he still considered Searle "a friend", adding "these things happen".

Mr Mountford, who was leader of UKIP at Suffolk County Council when Searle was a councillor, said: "I still regard Steve as fundamentally a decent man who has found himself in circumstances beyond his control.

"I'm not condoning it in any way but I was very, very sad to hear of Steve's conviction.

"I'm well aware domestic disputes can get out of hand but I feel equally sorry for both Steve and his now deceased wife."

And now his (obviously lawyer-advised) apology still comes with some kind of attempt at justification. What is it with cunts like him not being able to admit they did a cunty thing because they are a bit of a (or in this case complete) cunt?

It may be down to self-image--perhaps in order to justify all the stupid rubbish his companies do, he has to imagine really hard that he's benefiting mankind all the time, so when there's a crack in the make-up he just wants to paint over it and not let it spread.

If people are regularly, "accidentally" offing their wives in domestic disputes in your circle of cunts friends, then perhaps you need to re-consider your choices in life.

He feels equally bad for both of them though, you know, a balanced opinion.

Unfortunately as I don't know the murderer and didn't know his late wife, I can't give quite such an eloquent character reference for him post-conviction, or indeed her, but I do feel marginally more sorry for her and those who loved her.
