Their taste is impeccable
-

Yes correct, dicki... and Matt Hussey has odd artistic taste...
-
• #20733
Have worked it out, but surely someone can get there before me tomorrow (my earliest opportunity).
-
• #20734
managed to snap the body of a bb7 brake caliper so didn't get there as hoped
game on

Pfffft
-
• #20736
Questionable obelisk reviews should always carry an asterisk.
-
• #20737
That's just about the worst excuse of all time. A brake slows you down, if anything it would prevent you from getting there.
Saw through that one right away.

• #20738
I do hope that somebody will finally get a fix on this one.

• #20739
10/10

-
• #20742
i almost came here with another classic excuse as to why i didn't do the btob but luckily the jeremy clarkson way of fixing things saw me right in the end

nice cycle around this morning
it's quite a trek to get over there
rode up through epping to chingford and along the a110 into trent park and bagsed the trophy
-
• #20744
then on to the next tag
i'll see your obelisk and raise you a trig pointstanding looking at this view you'll have you backs to, not one but two tall concretey things
i checked the " oh wait theres a map ? " and i doesn't appear to have been done

in my hurry to leave this morning to beat other btob'er to the target i carelessly raced round the house collecting all my bits and pieces knocking my little point and shoot camera off a high shelf to the floor in the process
upon arriving at the trent park obelisk unpacked camera switched it on and was greeted by more flashing red lights than a high alert on the bridge of the starship enterprise
tried pointing and shooting but nothing switched it on and off again
took battery out put it back still nothing
i sat down and had a little weep all that effort for no tag i even went through enfield for gods sake
gave the camera some time to have a long hard think about what its doing and how it was spoiling my day
but to no availit was then i decided to hurl it gently towards the obelisk ( well actually i rapped it firmly against the obelisk hoping to relodge whatever had dislodged earlier
even though camera wasn't happy and still isn't i managed to squeeze a couple of shots out of it
anyone want a used fujifilm exr one careful elderly owner well looked after perfect condition

Ok, so what is this? (Answers like 'an obelisk' will be met with frozen sausages.)
-
• #20747
Awesome. Was going to suggest that as the next tag.
-
• #20748
A trig point is one of these
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangulation_station
It's 'like an obelisk' only it's shorter and less pointy on top. -
• #20749
A menhir?
-
• #20750
Frozen sausages, the lot of you. Where is the obelisk, and what is its significance?
would this obelisk suit me down to a tea ?
