I'm never sure how to respond to the question: "Any weapons in the vehicle, guns, knives baseball bats?". Firstly, why is a baseball bat classed as a weapon? I had plenty of other sports equipment, bed slats, cat scratching posts which could cause equal damage to a baseball bat. And also I had a hatchet, a full set of kitchen knives and various utility knives, none of which I'd class as weapons, but he didn't specifically ask so...

As far as I'm aware, I am still allowed to carry non-legal edged tools in my job too. Whilst not issued, my leggings have a Smith and Wesson Tool that is one handed opening and locking. In my tunic, I carry two other folding knives that lock and are slightly over three inches in length. One has a blunt tip for water rescue incidents, and the other is plain, both of these are for rescuing myself from potential entanglements.
If I wanted to carry something to do damage to another human, one of my axes would do a much more thorough job.
