Ha, yes. I've got an HPX and am very happy with it, but the Topeak seems to be pretty much as good. AIUI the HPX may work better if you've only got one pump peg, or if you prefer an all black colour scheme, but YMMV.

I have both. HPX possibly gets up to high pressure a little easier and feels nicer to pump...
however they’re both good, can’t go wrong with either. -

Probably gonna go with the Zefal, because it comes in black.

I've got zero pump pegs. Will this pump still work with my frame? Might need to velcro strap it.

Unless you have a small headtube to nestle it, you will need a strap. I do with both mine and it works perfectly.
The pump would stay in place without one but first bump and it slides down -

No small headtubes for me, being 6'3". Will strap it on! (No pun intended.)

is there a multitool thread? my crank bros one finally fell apart and all the allen keys fell out of my pocket.

Mine (size 4) fits in front of the seat tube (on a 25.5" frame) without straps or anything, but obviously that means you can't fit a bottle cage. Annoyingly the size 4 is just a fraction too long to go in my rear triangle along the seatstay, so I put it under the crossbar. As this is fractionally longer than the seat tube I use the wonderfully named Zefal doodad straps to keep it all secure; it would probably be fine without, but better safe than sorry.

I had an HPX under my top tube where it stayed with no problems for about 1000km, then a bump on one descent and it decided to fly out, if it had gone into a wheel it could have been fun as I was doing ~50kph at the time.
I used Zefal Doodads after that but then stopped carrying it in favour of a minipump in rackpack or pannier.

Nah, my two have been fine. I think I was having a look-see at mine to try and help you out but didn't have any luck.

Ah, n=1 then. Crack on.

I've used a velcro strap and it's fine.

Bought an HPX about 6 months ago. Just carried it around since then, praying for my tyres to pop :(

£20 for 6 months' protection against visitations? Sounds like a bargain to me...

This one sees a lot of wee these days.

Isn't it just to reduce chance of slippage? You don't want to be clamping directly to the seatpost with too much force.
-

It'll be fine.
If everything else is...

Ah, yes it was the discussion about the 97 earlier. I added it to my to-buy list as a way to avoid fucking up my saddle height adjustment again. Might buy one now.

Anyone know what size nut I need to go on these headtube gear cable adjusters? My bike needs them as the braze-ons aren't threaded.
It's probably gone through the decking you can just about see in the background.
Thanks.
