You mean try his luck in a bunch sprint or something? ;-) To be fair, yesterday was the first stage in which he might have, although he’s no Dan Martin or Valverde style climber.

Something other than time-trialling a whole grand tour. I'm sure someone will dive in and give me 1000000 examples of him not doing just that, but it's what it feels like he does, it's not exciting
