If they got wet it’s probably the water vibrating between the pad and rotor, otherwise sounds like contamination
It's in the dry, so contamination seems to be the consensus. I'll try cleaning rotors and see if that's any better, otherwise I guess wait and see if it goes away or new pads?
You can take a lighter to the pads, wipe the black gunk off and repeat a handful of times. Worked for me!
Sand the pads back, then set them on fire, clean the rotor with isopropyl alcohol, may require light sanding too
