*It is with frustration and much cost and annoyance that i write to say Bikeworks was burgled on Friday evening. We have lost a number customer repairs and stock bikes with a value of around £7000.00. I have listed the bikes below in case anyone see's them come up on online sale sites or local (brick lane) sale spots.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the 4 customers who lost their bikes for the understanding in this mater. I will of course do my best to replace your bikes like for like and in the most timely manner.
We have repaired the damage to the shop and where open for business by Saturday afternoon. Sadly we dont have many recycled bikes as all the higher end ones were stolen but we will work hard to get new stock in this week.
We look forward not back as like riding a bike as this happens on a daily basis in London. Resilience, positivism and a little thought that if i see the buggers i will get ya!!!!
Jim

Bike stolen SE - posting taken locally from a local forum
Yesterday when I was visiting my Nanna in Lewisham Hospital someone cut through my bicycle chain and stole my bike. This was from the main entrance in front of a camera and lots of people standing outside. The bike is very expensive and fairly new and I found out yesterday it’s not covered in my contents insurance. Since I received my medical ban from driving it’s been really hard to get around so that bike was my one saving grace and I loved it. Could you please circulate this picture of my bicycle to anyone you know who lives in the lewisham area and let me know if anyone sees it and where. The hospital have footage of the bike being taken but the police were too busy to go and view it, so I figure I’m going to have to find it on my own... It is a very rare bike in this country and is only sold by one retailer nationally. Chances are that if you see a bike which looks like this one, it’s mine!
Thank you loads and loads for your helphttps://www.facebook.com/groups/hithergreen/permalink/10155346513995303/

I've got the frame number of the Cadex and it's tagged with Bikeregister - I bought the Kona from @edmundro a couple of years ago and hopefully he's still got the frame number written down somewhere!
Pics below (Cadex has black tape now, and Kona has a grey saddle). I've reported the theft to the cops.
If anyone sees these about, please call me on 07913 398856 (Matt)
Cheers

Hey Gang, so my brother cycled home last night to find his car had been broken into, then presumably due to the shock of that forgot to bring his bike into the house with him. This morning he realised what he’d done only to find said bike had been pinched from his driveway! It seems to be quite a rare bike, a Cannondale Contro 2 (2016), so please be on the look out and give me a shout if you see one for sale etc, it’s the same as the one in the stock photo below and was nicked around the Brixton / Dulwich area, thanks very much.

Guy at work's son had his bike taken outside Herne Hill Station.
It's the front one in the picture, gold Vitus frame with a powerbar sticker on it.
It has been spotted in Peckham, middle aged white guy riding it.
Let me know if you see anything
