Still on my quartz-quest, you’ll all be delighted to hear. Does anyone know the name of the microbrand that does a selection of quartz and auto watches, styled after vintage watches from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s? There’s a dress watch, an internal-bezel diver, a chronograph. Brand name is the designers name. Been featured a few times on the watch blogs.
I can't remember what your criteria are but I hear that this new Quartz Precista is fantastic. Bit steep at £245 but it is COSC Chronometer certified and really rather lovely looking.
I have a PRS-18Q as a beater, and I love it; I think it was about £185 when I got it, which is stonking VFM. I'd say it's definitely worth £245, especially if COSC is your thing (and it looks like the standard quartz may not be coming back, at least for a while).
I do like the PRS-18Q, but I don’t think I’m looking for another diver this time. Something with a bracelet, not too dressy, and not a diver or chronograph.

Edit: it’s Dan Henry.
