Re. The Apple Watch and I presume similar devices.
I think it is useful for a number of reasons -
Ability to step count
Heart rate monitor
The ‘rings’ - which encourage exercise etc
The ability to check messages quickly and easily - so you can judge when to reply
It tells the time
Remote control of the phone camera
Remote control of music from the phone
Numerous other talents which I have yet to discover
The downside - they do not look good - no matter what ‘face’ you select - they do not look good.
For functionality and usefulness they are great (well my Apple Watch is).
I have a few other non-smart watches and, in my opinion, the majority of them look much better. And I’m still hankering for a Speedy.
