Ray Mears wears a black Rolex Submariner date and has done for years.

Edit: The rumour based on an interview where he mentions the switch is that his Citizen broke and somebody told him that Rolexes don't break. Lolz.

I can't afford a Sub, that's why I've got an Ocean Black!?! But I've loved that Citizen since I first laid eyes on it...

It's a fantastic watch, I love them too. Was just taking the piss a little.

If I had a I choose between a sub and a Citizen for his line of work, I wouldn't have chosen the sub that's for sure.
