The spacers were more for a future upgrade to campagnolo as the shimano 600 headset isn't exactly Italian, I know, daft isn't it but don't want to be limited to the stack height of the Shimano. It's a threaded steerer, in fact all the threads seem in really nice condition. It went to the bike shop to have the bb threads chased and the headset cups pressed, and then the build proper can start next week! Bit annoyed with the shop bit let them off a bit as they don't have the spanner for a 600 headset, but said a 32mm should fit - gulp. It's not been too much this build, mainly thanks to the forum, but getting the frame for £170 was a great start. The guy in the bike shop said I must scour the world for my bikes, I like that and wish it was that glamourous.

Also I have parts of a Campag threadless headset, would sell for cheapz. if you can find a crown race you’ll be in business ;)
