Clue: total lack of sound when lever tail is pointed to the right, which is the open position that it jumps out of, i.e. there's no centring action/detente that holds it in place, and indeed the lever itself is subject to an internal force that swings it so that the tail is pointed to the left (as you look at the shock body at the same angle you do in the clip).
