I spoke to Pauls Cycles, they said that they'd never heard of a Fox shock having this problem, and could I please send them some pictures of my shock to state the warranty process.

Takes less than a minute with google to discover, although much of what I found was with older Fox shocks.

Depends on whether you can ham it up for the camera, I guess, the moment having long gone.
