I had missed that. Thank you!

Gave the wahoo to the lady, she hooked it up to her phone and it back synced every ride on the device.
What a pile of shit. Just had to spend time deleting them all from her strava.

Just had to spend time deleting them all from her strava.
Can’t have her claiming your KMs as hers!

Or all the QOMs in essex!
-
• #1083
Because who'd assume it'd upload all old rides onto a new account?
-
• #1084
Can confirm that the second hand Garmin 1000 that I purchased did exactly that. Had to delete a few hundred rides in Birmingham!

Bugger. So I can’t just beat on wahoo.
Seems they’re equally shit for now. -
• #1086
Gave the wahoo to the lady.
Quick question; did you reset it?

Apologies if this isn't the best place to ask but... I'm looking for a replacement battery for my TomTom runner 2 watch. TomTom don't supply them so I'm left looking for something that will provide the right amount of power within the correct dimensions. I know what it looks like (https://i.imgur.com/nFnzIOJ.jpg) but I can't find one anywhere. I've googled all the codes on that pic. Possibly because the unit is a couple of years old the people who were making them have stopped/my google fu is weak. There must be something out there!
Any pro tips from the forum? -
• #1088
I would assume any device plugged into an account with sync enabled would do just that.
But I'm a habitual deleter so don't have these kind of issues. :)
-
• #1089
No. Just dig it out the draw. I did not think it would back sync.

Garmins own program basecamp give you pretty much ultimate control over gpx tracks and routes, allowing you to split them, join them, add bits or take away bit etc etc etc. You can also move individual points on both tracks and routes. Most gpx tracks contain something like a 1000 or so trackpoints, therefore you can adjust the track in something like one metre increments. This is most likely OTT for your purposes but you get my drift hopefully.

Ooh. Thank you.
I had tried Ride with GPS and was not having much luck. A few of the other browser based versions were not giving me quite what I was expecting either.
This may be closer to what I think I need.

Download the maps for the program from here, http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ .
This will give you a detailed map of the area of your choosing for windows or mac. -

OMG someone likes Garmin software!
Run away!
You can split tracks in RWGPS. View them (not in edit mode) and slider along the elevation plot - it'll then ask if you want to save as another track.
-
• #1094
Can I split tracks without wanting to breaking my keyboard into 1000 pieces because the UI is so shit?
No.
-
• #1095
If you think the UI is bad on RWGPS, you're going to love Basecamp. It's awful.
-
• #1096
I sense a gap in the market here........
-
• #1097
Um, have you used basecamp yet?
If you just need to split tracks there's other options. Really depends what you're doing.
-
• #1098
Yeah, a fucking massive one.
Garmins that work.
Mapping software that works.
Combine all the existing mapping apps into one really fast one.Go.
