Have a look around Chatterton Road / Bickley.
Got both Bickley & Bromley South station if needed but much nicer shops / restaurants and park.Source: currently live there.

Without being too nosy, what sort of thing are you looking for?
You said something about buying in cash recently, so I'd guess unless you're unable to work then you'd be in a position to get a small mortgage at a good rate.
