  • I do (somewhere) have the shock pump that came with my Cannondale Rush - would it be unwise to use this pump on the new bike? Howard said something that that affect, but I don't know why.

  • Usefully those are the Winchester court buildings.

I know that. I did a 2 day trial there not long ago. Stayed in the very nice pub across the road, on the corner. #csb

  • Oh dear, did someone set fire to the net in dark of night?

  • I have a shock pump. You can borrow it. I'm sure it will be fine.

Leave howard to his esoteric knowledge of 20 year hold obsolete and obscure suspension forks with a solitary, sinister tine.

  • It’s best to not fire old any old dust and contaminates in to your new equipment, that’s all.

  • Has anyone's fork ever died this way?

I'm far from scrupulous in how I care and store my shock pump, but perhaps I've just been lucky for the last 15 years.

  • I have used the pump once.

    And not on inflatable companions.

  • Filtered air only, or gtfo

  • Modern solo air designs are particularly susceptible to internal scratches and nicks that older forks shrugged off.

Also, it helps should you need to employ distance selling regs to return it to have done everything by the book.

  • Filtered air only, or gtfo

    This is howard now...

  • Although you are the only other one on the thread who understands this reference.....

  • May the Schwartz be with you

  • yea spaceballs :)

  • Come on, Neil. You must have taken a non-drive side photo of this bike by now.

  • And worked out the leverage ratio of the air shock and how many packers you need to insert :)

    I fuckin luv coilovers :) /old

  • Still not home yet

  • Home.

  • Who can tell me if it’s the correct size?

  • Those curtains are in a sorry state.

  • Squints. Well it doesn't look wrong from here.

  • Meh. It's aiiight. Needs some Fox 40's and more Red Bull stickers.

  • It feels fine, from very slowly riding up and down by the garages, saddle height in the photo is where it should be. Dropper post action is still lols

  • There’s a good handspan of post in the frame, so nowhere near minimum insertion.

  • I have no idea what I am doing.
