There was a stupefying amount of that at the Mallorca Iron Man not too long ago except past people simply strolling along. Reams of riders just shouting 'on your right/left' and thundering past people on multi use paths.

I see the triatholon organiser claim they will try to identify any riders and disqualify them from future events. I hope they also pass details to the police and british cycling, or whoever the governing body for triathletes is.

Racing is for closed roads, there is absolutely no excuse for riding like that on public roads.

As a horse rider and cyclist I am almost lost for words.

The second person undertaking hit the horse riders stirrup, so they hit the horse riders left foot, hence the bike riders shout, as a boot and steel stirrup hit some part of him or his bike. Just think about how close that was to the horse itself, maybe 25 to 30mm off its shoulder... and we say car drivers are cunts....
