Are those Frogleg cantis on the rando bike that are a bit useless? I keep putting off progressing my new bike order as I'm struggling to find any Revox and can't figure out what other cantis to put on it.

Well I have had them work better before. But I don't use this for much off road so I don't mind them braking a bit slower.
Avid Shorty ultimate might be good for you?

Cheers dude, I should stop second guessing myself and get on with ordering it then see what calipers I can get a good deal on when the frame is a bit closer to reality. I do find the Avids just so damn ugly...

first world problems.. im struggling with a blue CK headset and (light) blue hope seatclamp.

That's why Hope dropped their old gunmetal grey, they couldn't get it consistent. I've got mismatched hubs and a seat clamp that matches neither of them.

Yeah, hub looks to be more blueish than the headset.
Probably because they use different alloys for hubs and headsets.

This is why hubs, headsets and seat clamps should be black or polished.

Know what you mean. In the pics, the greens don't look too mismatched, maybe just go with it.

My hubs and headset match perfect.

You could at least show a photo with both H/S and wheels posted so we have a chance to judge the mismatchyness in a real world setting (looking at a compressed photo on an old monitor).

I'm not saying it can't be done. With all the special editions King puts out, I'd be suprised if they hadn't learned how to compensate for different alloys in the proces.
BUT exposure to UV light will break down or fade the colours embedded in the anodizing proces over time and the colour might deteriorate differently in different alloys.
