Looks great! My youngest bro had one of those Muddy Fox Courier Comp's back in the early 90s, weighed a bloody ton so ideal for a cargo bike! :) how does it ride?! Obviously still WIP but great effort so far!

Anyone remember the company who lends new businesses a cargo bike for a fortnight/month?
Thinking about one as car is becoming used less and less.Something that... Flat load bed (bullet style), big range of gears, electric assist can be added later for when I realise it's heavy....
Also frame only, as can get own bits through trade. -

While it's taken away ,
I'd be curious if you could test ride Hulsroy's cargo,
as you're used to cable operated directions,
your feedback would be interesting. -

Where's the nipper?!*
Nice tie-down action going on there! :)

It does ride very very well. Around 2.5° steeper headtube than a bullitt. I managed to stand up with the feet on the frame and steer it hands free. It weighs 30kg which isn't that far from douze, bullitt, etc.
I put apart my two other bikes for parts so i move this thing around every day. But as you mentioned still some work to do. Not so sure about electric assistance, but i'll try it in the next weeks. -

That looks amazing!

Love it! Wish I had time for such MadMax creations. Cracking job. 30kg ain't too shabby and like the industrial look. Look forward to seeing what further tinkering produces... keep up the crazy (good!) work! :)

Oh my days, better!
Really fancy a cargobike, car fast becoming something I hardly ever use anymore, if I need one the misses car is epic on fuel (70-85mpg actual) or motorbike.
Using new business as an excuse as a "put advertising on it + collect customers bikes with it" . Also there are some groups offering free try outs to businesses -

Happy new bike day! Looks awesome.

Thanks dude
it's super quiet, belt drive seems over-kill but it's handy when so close to the beach -

Carbon cargo bike available later this year, apparantly...
https://www.cohandco.com/velosled-cargo-bike/steering concept (cable actuated hub steering) looks interesting.

3000 EUR for a full bike is not bad at all!
-
• #1669
Looks wack though..

It's not real actually hub-centre steering though*, it looks like an an offset steerer wth the lower black bit being the monofork? It lowers the front end for cargo but it doesn't look that neat.
*like that

Jesus Christ, what is that?? I've never seen something like this!
It looks very weird yet very "advanced"!

I know. It's awful.

It seems to be some kind of lefty-type arrangement with the "steerer" offset to the NDS next to the hub. (similar to the left front wheel of my wifes Nihola)

I wonder haw it feels with offset steering axis... -

Titchmarsh bike from a few years back. That sort of hub is nothing new, Bimota made a motorbike with it in the early 90s.
