perfectly ? Do you mean that it does not derail? Thankfully For road use, the efficiency remains to be proven considering the difference in the number of teeth between each rear gears...

My partner rides one, it works great. If you're not stage racing you don't need the exact cadence 100% of the time.
I get that there's a reason that TDF riders don't use them, but for the average person's road riding? Why not.
