Can we all be clear that Real Madrid are one of the most ghastly teams anywhere in the world. Build on subsidies from Franco, a man under-rated in terms of nastiness as a dictator, and made into the richest club in Europe by him and successive governmental intervention. Despite the quality of their players, they cheat. I would love to see them fail.
That said, I was rather chuffed by their win on Saturday.
