I don't think magnetism is covered under the warranty. But any good local independent watchmaker should be able to demagnetise it for very little money - which won't involve the risk of shipping it from a retailer to a service centre and back. Doesn't sound like it needs a service.
I thought these watches had something in the design to stop them becoming magnetised. The iphone app reckons it is magnetised. How would it have happened - I haven't been through an airport scanner or something I think would magnetise it...
Honestly nothing to stress over. It happens. It has been happening for as long as wrist watches were a thing. And that was before mobile phones, headphones, car stereos and the countless other things that can magnetise your watch.
I have a degausser which you are welcome to borrow.
If it’s not that, then it’ll most likely be a hairspring “sticking” issue which can be as simple as oil having spread onto it and causes the coils to occasionally stick together as it “breathes”.
