I wasn't sure if this belonged here, in rat bikes or in cargo bikes. But first camp trip of the year was a success. I want some more sweepy bars tho, SOMA odin maybe?

Nice! What sort of stuff were you riding on? I'm guessing that one wouldn't want to ride a cargo fork on long road days or off-road...
Whatever it is it's super cool, except for the rear derailleur cable routing!:

Yep fixed that after seeing it in the photo, I was wondering why I was shifting so bad after recently truing the hanger lol.
it was about 60km of road, 5ish of dirt road and 4 hours of ferries then back the same. the geo very comfortable for me personally so I can put in miles, but it's terrifying on trails.

Wanted one of these for a while. Would like to hear from owners how they ride and what they're like to own. I've not had a chance to ride one yet.

That's my friend. he's taken upwards of 200lbs (2 small people) up front and didn't die and will also ride pretty normal up till a decent load, leaning into corners, jumping curbs and riding no handed are fine unlike full cargos which kinda drive like a bus. Definietly gets tippy, but it's a solid as long as you are aware.

Love that the rack is built into the frame rather than being attached to the steering. Two bike life could easily be a fast road bike and a mini max for touring/beater/lockup etc. Looks like plenty of room for a big framebag too

yeah, also been looking at these. what would it be like for touring? or is that too weird...

I would go a size bigger than you would normally take to increase the wheelbase and take a short stem with wider bars to keep it easy to handle.

Aside from weight I dont really see the issue. Could just put all your shit on the front without it really effecting handling. Frameset is around 6kg though so youd be looking at 12-14kg full bike minimum id imagine. Carrying two different inner tubes would be the only real annoyance
the bike is now in germany and still alive
