Serek? Nice. I like the symmetrical ones more though.

Yeah I'd be very tempted by that Midwestern in a natural finish! They're not terribly expensive for a handmade bass!

This is ace...

Fitted myself a mute last night on my think line (well half fitted - it needs a spring to work properly) pretty please with the extra amount of chrome :D

That is beautiful. What's the name of that version which has the binding round the corners?

Is it an Aerodyne?

Thinking about putting a vibrato on my fake Mosrite... Wanna keep it looking like a Mosrite but fear I might get into trouble because the neck is Gibson scale and nut width... I've found a Mosrite style roller bridge online that'll fit, what are the chances of finding a vibrato that'll work as well?

Hello all,
Anyone have any interest in a Squier Tele Custom II? Selling for £105 and then remembered this thread. So £90 for someone on here.
Is stock, aside from different knobs, and there's a p90 in the bridge - no clue on the brand! Condition wise, it's got a few dings on the body, and needs a new selector switch tip. Finish a bit faded on one part (actually, I think its a bit of sticker residue so might come off with a bit of nail polish removal).

I've knocked fifty quid off my Blues Junior III too - £350 and it's yours. Less than a year old, never gigged.

Really like that Tele 2. Super bargain too.

Oh and @BleakRefs, really sorry to be off radar man but i’ve decided to hang on to the Guild. Sorry to dangle that. Thought I didn’t get much use out of it and of course on deciding to let it go, I immediately started playing it loads, generally thinking about it and ended up digging it and decided not to let it go.

Have made it my absurdly low open tuned folk guitar and it suddenly started to make sense. It’s currently tuned down to drop B tuning and sounding very mellow and toothsome

All good buddy, I ended up picking up a Taylor in a moment of drunken hedonism. Loving open tuning on this t too, it's been nothing but Richard Dawson tunes round this way.

Get in!

Absolutely love Richard Dawson and would love to learn some of his stuff (assuming it's the same Richard Dawson...)
How are you figuring out the songs? They're all so complicated! I don't even know what tuning to start with aside from that it's very low on the E string (C if I recall?)
-
• #5745
You know, what's weird is that his stuff is pretty easy to play but ONLY after you tune to open C. Once that's done the whole of the main riff for 'The Vile Stuff' for example is basically dicking about on the first and third frets. He's astonishing. I highly recommend!
