Reading used to do midweek 25s on the H1

Early reports in and @hippy has gone under 50min for a 25. So probably best to take a week of from this thread, while he celebrates with pictures of cadel.

I remember the day he went under the hour, on the amersham road about 6 years ago. He came into the hq and said "that's great, I never have to do another 25"
So I guess he can't rest there, needs to focus on getting a 48...

Yep, 49:43 and I had to fucking fight for it.

Hit a pothole and thought I'd pinch flatted with 3mi to go. I was fucking spewin' but tyres stayed up and I got it done. I was in a bit of a state though. Don't usually feel sick and had to have a lie down when I got home.

Nope. I had some stuff to do (like chase down my DPD delivery to some random address). Had a brief lie down. Got some chocolate milk and beef jerkey and I've sent the better half down the street to get me a kebab and some beers :)

I was referring to then fact you never see anyone who performs at such a high level racing up and down duel carriageways (dowsett excluded).

I'd like to see him have a hit at the 50 and 100 records. He'd put them on a shelf for a long long time.

He is riding a 50 on a new dc course over the bank holiday. Prob not e2 fast, but with him, you never know.

I still could've done with a >58 for the descent. 70T though might be "pushing" it :)
