Though I'm hopeful they might find him, I got an accurate description of the car that picked him and it's a very small village.

If the police find the driver he will just claim he had a drink after the incident.

I had a similar incident outside my house, local drug dealer smashes up a row of cars, his car is totalled and left on its roof. He's off his head on Ketamine, not even his car and no insurance. We call the cops, he gets agro, then runs off about 1 minute before the police arrive.

The police then just sit in their van and call a dog unit...... no pursuit even attempted.

Despite giving the police the guys name, address and pictures of him at the scene they never collared him for it.

So fucking disappointing as he could have easily killed someone.

Even if he had killed someone as it would have been in a car the popo probably still wouldn't have done anything.

It's utterly depressing, if he hadn't of totalled his car 2 minutes before, he could have encountered a cyclist or walker in the lane I found him which was rolling and narrow, I have no doubt he could have killed someone, he was next level drunk.

With hindsight I wished I had filmed him for evidence :(

I do feel for the police too, the one who attended clearly wanted to catch him, but sadly, clearly the locals wanted to help him evade justice rather than realising he is a danger to himself and others and his behaviour is completely reckless and unacceptable.

He was genuinely aggrieved that I was calling the police, anyone serving or drinking in that pub that let that clown get in his car should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

Double hit+run outside my place the other night. I didn't see it but could hear the crash and rushed down to offer help. I've seen the aftermath of a few crashes this way(hear the crash and look out of window to see two drivers shouting who should pay) but none with pedestrians involved. Anyway if people could share, someone hopefully goes "oh my neighbour damaged a car...".

Locals will just cover for him, never left the pub in his car someone must have pinched his keys and done it.

Yes, highly likely and easily disprovable with a modicum of police effort but whether it will be perceived as "in the public interest" to apply that effort remains to be seen.

Dorset Road in Morden, 20mph covered in speed bumps. I was doing 20-22mph the whole way down and taking primary because of the parked cars and speed bumps and because I need to turn right just past the s-bend about 3/4 of the way down which is the most open part of the road so drivers like to overtake on the blind bend.

At the point he pushed past i was about 10 inches from riding through the middle gap in the speed bumps as there was a parked car and if i'd gone to gap on the far left and he went past at the same time I would have been forced to either ride into the parked car or come to a complete stop. so was forced to turn and go straight over the speed bump at 23mph. the stupid cunt then had to brake sharply to avoid the oncoming car because he was on the wrong side of the fucking road.

I know it’s beyond a cliche, but Merc and Bimmer drivers really do make up a disportionate amount of the bellends on our roads

Had a merc minibus deliberately drive at me this morning because I had the cheek to pull along side his window and tell him to put his phone away. Luckily I was on the motorbike and was able to accelerate away and through a gap too small for his car.
I have no doubt he would have ploughed into me had I not moved.

Told a white van man to get off his phone. He asked who the fuck I was. "A concerned citizen" was my reply.

How do you leave a van in gear, put the handbrake on and get out? It says that it is in some way an adapted vehicle.
Manual van with auto clutch or what? It would have stalled otherwise
