Dumolin is ~ 20kg heavier than Yates. That was an awesome ride!

So what will Yates giveaway per kilometre to Dumoulin? I think 4 seconds is reasonable, so he has every chance of still winning this. Still looks a long way back for Froome. Will both Yates and Dumoulin stumble? Winner from Yates or Dumoulin, and Froome to take podium from Pinot and Pozzovivo I think.

The TT is going to be interesting both Dumoulin and Froome can claw back a lot of time but tomorrow is a big day as well. If Froome does this again it could set him up plus his original goal was to peak in the third week. Yates though still has a great attitude towards it getting as many bonus seconds as he can. This is a great fight for a GC so many scenarios can play out. Sadly Dennis lost a lot of time on that stage.

Has Froome sat back and taken things a little easier, letting Yates and Dumoulin race each other, knowing he'll be fresher in the third week?

I think it’s more likely that Froome would probably be in pink after this stage had he not crashed twice.
