Thanks all. This is for my Isen all road rando gravel touring etc. I actually already have the mudguard mounted Son rear light. I like the position but it’s a bit of a faff when packing the bike up and when I want to fit wider tyres I need to get rid of the guards. So I was thinking it be easier to just have the light on the seat post or just below on the seat tube. On the saddle looks good but sometimes I ride with a seat bag so that wont work. Maybe the best thing to do is to keep it on the mudguard and use a battery light when needed.

  • I kind of came to the same conclusion.

If running my Isen without guards, battery lights will do, at least for the rear.
