Ikea does the Älmaren tap, which has a pull out nozzle. Not sure if it has a spray function too.

We've picked the Franke Wave for our kitchen.
https://www.franke.com/gb/en/ks/products/kitchen-taps/wave/115-0277-035_detail.html
I like it as I've seen the retractable ones have issues where they stop retracting, and the wave shouldn't have that problem. Sure it'll find a novel way to break for me though...

@aggi we have one of these style of tape and I'm looking to replace it. My requirement is slightly different in that my wife insists on two levers one for hot and one for cold.
so far

Ha - are you serious?

Cheers, I didn't realise there were so many variations, hadn't seen them in the UK before.
I do favour the hose that goes up into the body, although I can see the concerns about it breaking. No preference on the number of levers
Found the UK equivalent of the Grohe one https://www.amazon.co.uk/GROHE-31483001-Concetto-Basin-Pull-Out/dp/B016ZPOVYY/ but there do seem to be a fair few options.

Cheers, I do have a full size cupboard under the sink but will have to find one with specs so I can work out how much space it will take up

Amazing, has he ever read House of Leaves?

Big fan of the Wave. I’ve specified it for every kitchen I’ve designed and I’m about to get one for myself.

Yeah, he found it whilst redecorating, opted not to mention it to his wife as he didn't fancy building a walk-in wardrobe!

I think a fox is stuck in my new garden. Do i call animal services? Or pest control?
-
• #13863
Neither. Call hippy.

Call Boggis, Bunce & Bean

Not sure this is a fantastic fox. It got stuck in my garden, so stupid is probably more apt.

Good eatin' them...

It got into your garden, it'll get out.

Then again it is lunchtime...

I think it jumped off the neighbours shed over the new 6ft wall into an empty garden. I dont think its getting out unless it knows how it can excavate under the concrete fence runner.
Im not confident without it fucking up a lot of things.

Foxes can get over a 6ft fence easily enough.
It's probably hanging around because it likes you.

On the subject of Dewalt cordless tools
I have Dewalt - buy them bare, buy 4A 18v Floureon batteries & charger.
Ignore what I wrote - Floureon batteries appear to stop charging after a while.

(the drill, not the fox)
The hotel I'm staying at has one of these in the kitchen https://www.grohe.us/en_us/concetto-single-handle-kitchen-faucet-3134900E.html
Look like a normal tap but actually has a pull out nozzle (that retracts back into the body) and a button to switch to a high pressure spray. I'm tempted to get one for home as part of a kitchen refurb.
Are US taps compatible with UK plumbing or are there weird standards differences (I'm guessing imperial v metric)?
Does anyone know of an equivalent UK tap?
