Not sure you can call 9 wins a few more!
-
• #142928
Does 4th place (Liverpool) still have to play a CL Qualifier (unless they win the CL and I assume Spurs would)?
-
• #142929
You’ve gotta do better than that.
-
• #142930
must try harder.
Chelsea threw away the 4th place with post new year performances, Conte doing the big le sulk because he didn't get the backing from the board.F A cup still to come but Jose knows how to win a cup final.
-
• #142932
No. As of next season 1st to 4th qualify automatically based on uefa coefficient rankings.

• #142933
If Liverpool are the second best team in the country, how come they finished behind United and Spurs?
-
• #142934
You’re looking at the league table and not the points per net spend table.
Have you learned nothing?

Genuinely an end of an era at Arsenal. In a sense I'm sad to see Wenger go, but his own (high) standards had dropped and the flaws in the team are obvious to all. I hope he enjoys his retirement, although I doubt he'll ever stop working.

You must have certain people on ignore. It's already been attributed to a vast international conspiracy. Oh, and because they're a small club, they struggle to compete with the cash engorged Goliaths.

Fourth best team in England. Best or second best team in Europe.

Second best bed wetting.
Shearer and Wright proclaiming us title rivals to Citeh next season is laughable. -
• #142939
City have got the league on lockdown until Sheikh Mansour turns the taps off.

Congrats to Mo Salah on the golden boot and all time top goal scorer in a season. Let's hope he can add old big ears (for a 6th time) to that haul.

Sounds like The Sherrif is having his horse readied.

@Rich_G, @jaw I’m not trolling, Benitez is as good or better than any of the managers you’ve had since you let him go after he won you the UEFA Europa League.
And he beat your guys with a Newcastle team that everyone acknowledges is of championship quality and needs shit loads of investment. And he kept them up fairly easy.
How different would the boom or bust cycle be at Chelsea if he were still in charge?
If he’d had Hazard and willian, and costa and kante and how much would he have improved bakayoko or drinkwater or rudiger. -
• #142946
barca lose their first game of the season with two games to go .... doh!
shame would have been nice to see another invincible team -
• #142947
Fourth best team in England
The fourth best team in England lost to Wigan in the FA Cup
-
• #142948
I'm no Benitez hater and think he did a good job atchelsea but he was never going to taken to the hearts of hard core Chelsea fans.
different club would bring a differnt set of pressures.
Benitez has done great job at Newcastle.
But if Benitez had stayed I think he would have been another manager too the Boom and Bust list.
but who knows hay -
• #142949
Who will be next Chelsea manager? Will you be battling Arsenal for Mikel Arteta?
-
• #142950
And the best team lost to the 4th best in the CL? I guess Wigan are the best then.
