Good price?
You'd need to have shopped smart to put it together for two and a half times that, so if it's in good nick it's a fair price.

Hnnng, not what I wanted to hear!

You can always low-ball if you're only after a really great deal and don't mind missing this one.

Looks like we’ll be seeing tommy windmills on a cervelo R5 at le Tour 2019
I’m wondering if cervelo will be updating their S5 and P5 for next season too?
-
• #356
P5 is still super fast, can't see them doing anything new soon.
-
• #357
Agreed, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they did a disc only line up

anybody help with a bottom bracket change on a 2014 P5?
The none drive side was notchy so bought a replacement (dura ace cranks) Rotor 4624 which when I removed the old one was different - I shoudl have got a 4624L i think to accomodate the 79mm wide Bbright frame.
I have a 25tt tomorrow so I reinstalled the old one but the crank arm on the non drive side hits the chainstay -what have I done wrong?
I only get to do a few races at the weekend (kids) so don't want to miss if possible... -

Wrong order of the various spacers and shims. You need to move something from drive side to NDS
-
• #360
thanks for reading and replying. There are no spacers/shims, press apapters/cups into bb shell and put drive side chainset on drive side, attach non drive side crank tighten up with plastic tool and crank (stages) hit chainstay.
I'll try again tonight, I know there must be something I'm doing wrong -

Interesting, if a little pricey

does someone know what the difference is between a 2009 s3 and a 2012 s3?
-
• #363
About 3 years.
Do you mean the fit between the two?
-
• #364
yes the fit, the only difference i can see is the color scheme (in 2009 they were grey en in 2012 there were more options), do you know if there are there other differences ?

2014MY seems to be the point where the S3 changed from the original mould to the current one.

New S5 looking pretty rapid / marmite.
-
• #367
Will probably suffer the same as the last Venge in that no matter how fast it is, people won't buy it cos it's a bit ugly. Same as the P4.
Do like how Cervelo still use proper, non-truncated aerofoils.

I quite like it, with a flat stem would look pretty aggro. Would be terrified of writing it off if you crashed and the forks clattered into the frame though. I'm assuming it has stops like the Cannondale.

I'm assuming it has stops
Cervelos have had lock stops for ages

Is there a max for Bottom bracket torque nm on a P3C? is it lower than 40nm*? This link seem to suggest that older 2007 R models should be max 25.8 foot pounds.
The old p3 manual does not have an entry for BB

Don't sponsors contract to the end of the year? Giant can't be happy with that ad for Cervelo.

• #374
I dig it
