Haven't completely decided. Stopping is important so I need to give it some though. Cheap mini v are ugly so not the. I have always wanted a pair of xtr grey v brakes but don't know if they suit the frame.

That's what I was going to say - full size vs are way better than mini vs and will work well with flat bars. Plus they actually stop you without loads of faffing, so better than cantis in two ways.
